In 2012, after a decade of experimentation, Tsadra Foundation introduced a series of digital books and apps on Tibetan Buddhism. We launched this exciting venture with the bilingual and Tibetan editions of Jamgön Kongtrul Lodrö Tayé’s encyclopedic masterpiece The Treasury of Knowledge.
In 2015 we launched the eDharma Courses app presenting, for the first time, elearning shedra materials. Recently, all the contents of the eDharma Courses have been made available for free download, including Maitreya’s Madhyāntavibhāga with commentaries by Khenpo Shenga and Ju Mipham.
In 2019 we launched the Tsadra Bilingual Library App.
Tsadra Bilingual Library
This app merges all the Tsadra Foundation apps into a single library bringing a new design and navigation. The app provides access to two collections of Tibetan texts: The Treasury of Knowledge, and The Five Treatises of Maitreya.
It also includes a free edition of the Madhyantavibhanga Course, as well as a collection of free Tibetan texts beautifully crafted.
The app also provides quick access to several other Tsadra Foundation web-based projects, such as The Timeless Treasuries Library, the Tsadra wiki Tibetan Catalogs, and a selection of sessions from the Translation and Transmission Conferences.
